FURTHER DESCRIBED THROUGHOUT THE GATEWAY VECTORS WEB SITE (THE “MATERIALS”).
PLEASE READ THESE STANDARD TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY. YOU MUST
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE TERMS OF USE

Ordering of Materials: to order Materials from Gateway vectors, your
Institution must first agree to, and accept, the applicable Material
Transfer Agreement prior to distribution of your order. The applicable
Material Transfer Agreement is between your Institution and VIB .Gateway vectors facilitates the distribution of
Materials and charges a fee for that service .
Privacy Policy: Gateway vectors respects your privacy and has taken specific
steps to protect it. Please see our Privacy Policy.
Security: you can safely enter your entire credit card number via our
secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Gateway vectors’s
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among
the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It
encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card
number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the
information travels over the Internet.
Scope of Use: your use of the Materials is governed by the applicable
Material Transfer Agreement between your Institution and VIB, and by any applicable safety and other statutes and
regulations that may apply at your place of work.
Proprietary Rights: except as expressly set forth in these Standard
Terms of Us or the applicable Material Transfer Agreement, no
other assets or rights of Gateway vectors or VIB or John Innes Center,
respectively, are being sold, granted, licensed, or conveyed to you.
Payment; Shipping: payments may be made by check or credit card.
Products will only be shipped if payment is finalized
You are responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and permit
fees assessed in connection with your purchase of the Materials. You
will, upon demand, pay to Gateway vectors an amount equal to any such tax(es),
duties, tariffs and permit fees actually paid or required to be
collected or paid by Gateway vectors. Gateway vectors shall have no obligation
hereunder to accept your order unless you have satisfied the
requirements of Gateway vectors’s applicable credit approval process and have
satisfied any additional credit requirements imposed by Gateway vectors, which
may include providing Gateway vectors with a deposit, letter of credit, or
payment in advance, as requested.
Gateway vectors will notify you when orders are submitted without the
necessary permits, and you will have a two (2) month period after such
notification to supply proof of the necessary permit(s) before an
order will be cancelled. A processing fee will be charged if special
processing or packaging is necessary. All Materials are shipped Free
on Board (FOB) point of shipment, freight prepaid via carrier of our
choice and added to your invoice. If the Material is lost or damaged
during shipment, Gateway vectors will replace such Material at no additional
charge, provided that you have reported lost or damaged shipments to
the applicable carrier and notified
Refund Policy: any Materials delivered pursuant to an order filled
through this web site are understood to be experimental in nature and
may have hazardous properties. Should Gateway vectors deliver to you Materials
that were not requested under your order, then Gateway vectors shall, in its
discretion, either replace the wrongfully delivered Materials or
refund the processing fee (exclusive of shipping and handling) paid by
you for such Materials, provided that such matters are brought to
Gateway vectors’s attention in writing within 10 days of receipt of such
Materials.
